Guiding her clients through the process of buying or selling real estate and successfully enabling them to realize a lifestyle that makes them feel whole is the frosting on her cake! Whether her client is a first-time homebuyer, a family downsizing, or a new investor in the process of acquiring properties with which to grow their wealth, Elaine – who always wanted to be a teacher - finds the process of coaching and assisting her clients extremely rewarding. Typically there will be several times during the course of a transaction when Elaine serves her client as a vigilant negotiator. However, her first objective is to offer her buyer or seller pertinent, reliable information, a viable game plan, calm, and a balanced vantage point. Born in Idaho, her family transplanted to San Diego while Elaine was not much more than a toddler. While thriving on the salt air and sunshine, she grew and loved watching (from her living room window) pods of whales blow and breach as they made their yearly migration south along the coastline on their journey to Hawaii. San Diego was exciting and magnificent! Later, as a teenager, there was a brief stint in upstate New York, (she considered it akin to St. John's being exiled to the isle of Patmos!) then relief came at the age of 20 with a move to Seattle, WA. She spent a couple of decades happily hop-scotching on the West Coast before vacationing in Denver and being totally smitten by the beauty and grandeur of Colorado. Colorado became home in 1990 and there was no turning back! Hospitality and nurturing relationships have always been top priorities for Elaine. If you are a new-comer to Colorado, you’ll enjoy discovering Colorado and all it has to offer and Elaine loves to share it! Whether clients become friends, which many of them do, or friends become clients, which many of them have done... gathering individuals from her various life-circles to enjoy one another is a favorite pastime. You’ll frequently find Elaine gathering friends from among her clients, her Church, her charity organizations, or wherever to attend the theatre, picnic at a concert, try out a new dining spot, or even join up for a European river cruise! Elaine firmly believes enjoying individual personalities, discovering the diversity of another’s life experiences, and sharing life are key elements to the formula of living well. It all takes more than a house. It takes a home… and she loves matching people with homes!
